Join our team as an Electromechanical Assembler where you will play a vital role in assembling electronic controllers, performing detailed tests, and maintaining inventory. You will work closely with engineering to enhance products and procedures, ensuring compliance with all specifications.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic controllers using drawings and procedures.
- Perform detailed testing to control units to verify compliance with specifications.
- Conduct simple continuity tests and calibrations.
- Maintain control over required inventory and ensure all bins are correctly labeled.
- Maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to correct and improve products and procedures.
- Work closely with others within the electronics area and other work areas as required.
- Assemble sub-assemblies, platforms, and configurations as needed.
- Perform product verification and testing to ensure the product meets internal and customer specifications.
- Package products for the Shipping Department when needed.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 6 months assembly experience.
- Soldering skills.
- Experience with schematics and blueprint reading.
- Mechanical and electrical assembly knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- ESD knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in cable manufacturing, wiring, electronic assembly, and sub-assembly.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled environment where you will wear smocks and be grounded to the bench. The position involves bench assembly, and you will be part of a small company with roughly 40 employees, focusing on teamwork and a positive culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SHAKOPEE, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
