Title: Benefits Specialist
Location: Irving, TX 75039 (4days onsite and 1 day remote)
Contract: Contract

Benefits Specialist Role:

• As the Benefits Specialist, you will support the administration and compliance of employee benefit programs, including pension, 401k, and stock incentive plans. The Benefits Specialist will work closely with vendors, auditors, and finance while ensuring employees receive excellent service and accurate information regarding their benefits
• Administer pension, 401k, and stock incentive plans including reconciliations, recordkeeping, and compliance
• Draft and maintain plan documents, amendments, and employee benefit communications
• Prepare and distribute ERISA-required disclosures, annual notices, and plan reports
• Partner with auditors and finance teams during annual benefit audits and filings
• Provide employee support by resolving questions and issues regarding benefit plans
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with ERISA, DOL, and related agencies
• Assist with committee presentations and maintain benefit plan records
• Participate in special projects as assigned

Benefits Specialist Background Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• 5+ years of experience working with employee benefit plans
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, DOL, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and project management skills with close attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Workday experience highly preferred
