Job Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the job from start to finish. Works closely with crews, sub-contractors and vendors to ensure all stages of jobs are completed within the necessary time lines, and within budget from beginning to end.
Essential Job Functions
- Arrive at the office no later than 7:30AM Monday through Friday
- Dress in proper attire to maintain a professional image at all times
- Attend safety and company meetings as well as other training seminars and workshops as required
- Perform emergency on call manager services per company policy
- Handle customer inquiries and questions as a first priority to provide service
- Schedule a crew as required to close each potential lead
- Overcome technical, service, price and scheduling objections of prospective customers
- Make follow up telephone calls to customers within 48 hours of job completion, make arrangements to obtain a signed certificate of satisfaction if it is not in the file
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints with the support of the Project Manager, return all customer phone calls by the end of each business day
- Preparing accurate job estimates and negotiating them
- Coordinating and supervising all reconstruction crew activities
- Directs all production personnel to achieve completion of the projects on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to the job specifications and plans
- Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the reconstruction process
- Utilize professional experience and discretion when selecting the best methods towards controlling job costs and adhering to profit margins
- Able to effectively communicate the job scope, specifications, and time lines to all subcontractors and material suppliers to effectively implement our goals
- Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and addresses job site hazards immediately
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all times
- Assist with other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Project Manager
Minimum Requirements
2-4 years construction experience
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public
Advanced mathematical skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
Employee is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, may need to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
