Stoltzfus Meats is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. This role is essential to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining high standards of quality.
A Department of Transportation (DoT) Medical Card must be obtained within the probationary period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and shipping requirements
- Verify product quantities and quality prior to packing
- Label and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed)
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Comply with all company policies and safety procedures
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues or discrepancies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse or order picking experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to obtain a DoT Medical Card within the probationary period
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills for order verification
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
