We are seeking an experienced Construction Crew Lead to oversee field crews and support daily construction operations on active job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong supervision skills and a solid construction background.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate construction crews to ensure productivity and quality work
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently (minimum 3 years of equipment operating experience)
- Perform carpentry and/or framing work, including accurate measuring, layout, and cutting
- Coordinate daily job tasks and ensure work is completed according to plans and schedules
- Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Communicate with project managers and report daily progress
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed, including material handling and site prep
Requirements:
- Proven experience supervising construction crews
- At least 3 years of equipment operating experience
- Strong background in carpentry and/or framing
- Ability to read measurements, use levels, tape measures, and layout tools accurately
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Physically able to perform construction labor, including lifting 50+ lbs
- Strong work ethic, leadership skills, and problem-solving ability
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred (not required)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of concrete, site work, or general construction tasks
- Experience training or mentoring crew members
