Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester physical therapist position is available in a K-12 school setting in Hibbing, MN. This role focuses on providing essential physical therapy services to support the diverse needs of students across all grade levels, promoting their physical development and aiding in their educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy interventions and support to students within the school environment.
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each students goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation and ply with all relevant regulations and school policies.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team approach to student care.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Licensed physical therapist with experience or specialization in school-based therapy services.
- Strong understanding of child development and physical therapy practices within K-12 educational settings.
- Excellent munication and teamwork abilities to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff.
