Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Additional options: Thursday–Monday or Friday–Tuesday
- Alternating weekends required
- Schedule may vary based on office needs
- Self-scheduling for visits and hours
Certifications & Licensure
- BCLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- Active Florida or Compact RN License – Required
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience – Required
- Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle – Required
- COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption) – Required
- Flu vaccine (or declination with mandatory masking) – Required
Unit & Assignment Details
- Skilled Home Care (Medicare, Medicare Advantage & Commercial Insurance)
- 6–8 home visits per day
- Equipment provided: Laptop, MiFi, Portable printer
- Documentation systems: BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, Ace Timesheet
Clinical Competencies
- Cardiopulmonary assessments
- Basic & advanced wound care (including wound vac)
- ABI compression dressing
- Pleurx/Asept drain care
- Foley catheter care and changes
- Staple/Suture removal
- Glucometer & Pro-time machine use
- SQ/IM injections
- Lab draws (venipuncture)
- IV therapy, PICC/Midline care & dressing changes
- SQ port access/de-access
Required Skills & Experience
- Skilled Home Health experience required (Private duty nursing alone will not be accepted)
- Experience with OASIS documentation – Required
- Strong IV therapy and wound care skills
- Experience managing general medical and high-risk diagnoses, including:
- Heart Failure (HF)
- COPD
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Pneumonia
- Stroke
- Post-operative care experience
