A School Psychologist position is available for the 26/27 school year in Williamsburg, VA. This full-time role involves a 37.5-hour workweek with a K-12 caseload, primarily focused on elementary students. The position is a contract opportunity within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students, with emphasis on elementary levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services as needed
- Assist in the development of school-wide programs to support student mental health and learning
- Maintain comprehensive records and comply with state regulations and policies
Required Qualifications:
- Virginia State School Psychologist License
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educational teams and families
