Job DescriptionShipping and Receiving Specialist – Keep Life-Saving Medicines Moving

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite) | Pay: 27–31/hr | Shift: Thursday - Sunday (Should be flexible for any shift)

About the Role
PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a top pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist. You’ll ensure that materials and finished products are accurately received, stored, and shipped, supporting production and inventory integrity in a GMP-regulated environment. Your work directly impacts patient care by keeping critical medications on schedule.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain accurate GMP records for all incoming and outgoing materials and finished goods.

  • Perform timely ERP transactions and data entry using MS Dynamics 365, UPS, FedEx, and related systems.

  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage, and staging of materials, including cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.

  • Load/unload trucks and transport materials safely using industrial equipment and powered industrial trucks.

  • Verify materials, labels, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.

  • Support hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, including pickup and destruction.

  • Operate radiation detection equipment and other specialized warehouse tools safely.

  • Participate in site initiatives, SOP development, cross-functional projects, and training programs.

  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4+ years in distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing within a regulated industry

  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate powered industrial trucks safely

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and customer service skills

  • Flexible availability to support a 24/7 production schedule, including holidays

Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Science-related field

  • Experience handling hazardous materials

  • Familiarity with procurement or inventory management systems

Pay Details: 27.00 to 31.00 per hour
