Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available for a school-based contract in Hillsborough, NC. This temporary role covers the first 12 weeks of the school year and involves working with a K-12 caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience providing occupational therapy services within a school setting and a strong background in managing student evaluations and individualized education programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students across Kindergarten to 12th grade
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and progress
- Prepare detailed reports based on assessment findings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
- Support student success through tailored therapy and ongoing communication with the educational team
