In office 1 day per week (Thursday); remote the remaining days
Compensation:
Salary: $56,000 – $74,000 (commensurate with experience)

Client Overview:
Vernovis is partnering with a well?established and growing organization seeking to strengthen its finance and accounting operations through the addition of an analytically minded Accounts Receivable Analyst.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices and credit memos
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively follow up on past?due balances
- Apply customer payments and credits; research and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash
- Investigate and resolve customer account discrepancies, including short?pays, pricing issues, and disputes
- Perform customer account reconciliations and support month?end AR close activities
- Generate and analyze AR metrics such as aging, DSO, and at?risk accounts, and share insights with management
- Partner cross?functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to improve billing accuracy and reduce recurring issues
What Experience You’ll Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related accounting role
- Strong understanding of AR processes, including invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFS)
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
What Experience Is Nice to Have:
- Experience in a shared services or multi?entity environment
- Exposure to AR automation, cash application, or collections tools
- Experience with reporting or dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau
