A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 school setting. This contract opportunity extends through the current school year and offers flexible scheduling with options for part-time hours as well.
Responsibilities include assisting with speech and language therapy for students in grades K through 12, supporting virtual sessions, and helping gather necessary data and progress reports. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students of various ages and needs in a virtual environment.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid SLPA certification or licensure appropriate for practice in school settings
- Experience working with children ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Ability to assist and collaborate with virtual Speech-Language Pathologists
- Comfort with technology used for virtual therapy sessions
- Strong organizational and data collection skills
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time according to departmental needs
