We are hiring for an Auditor for our Kansas City office. Our Audit Practice services Credit Unions exclusively.
Responsibilities
- Perform audits and agreed upon procedures for clients in the credit union industry
- Coordinate the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
- Act as client contact; communicate effectively with client personnel
- Communicate with Partner and/or Manager on work status and client issues that arise
- Monitor that tasks are assigned and completed on a timely basis
- Supervise, train and mentor audit staff
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2-5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, but also work well with others
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA License or on track to obtain
- 1+ years’ supervisory experience
- Software Experience a plus -PPC, Thomson Rueters, Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology platforms
- Travel less than 25%

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
