Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $42 – $45 per hour
Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join a dynamic oncology team in Houston, TX. The Radiation Therapist is responsible for simulating treatment setups, performing dosimetric calculations, administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments, and supporting patient care management.
This role requires close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and medical physicists to ensure safe, accurate, and effective treatment delivery for patients diagnosed with cancer or other diseases.
Responsibilities

Administer radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist

Perform simulation procedures and ensure accurate treatment setup

Conduct dosimetric calculations and verify treatment parameters

Operate and calibrate radiation therapy equipment (LINAC)

Monitor patient response during treatment and report any concerns

Educate patients on treatment plans and address questions or concerns

Maintain detailed and accurate patient treatment records

Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications

Experience with LINAC equipment

Current ARRT-T (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiation Therapy) certification

MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) certification from the Texas Medical Board (TMB)

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Minimum relevant clinical experience in radiation therapy
