Our client is a growing and high volume multi-specialty clinic that is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a part of their team in January! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- New patient intake and creation of a treatment plan, including imaging
- Telemedicine appointments (at times)
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Be the primary point of contact with the patient during their patient journey for questions - especially if a provider is unavailable
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- This position will see up to 4 patients per hour and is supported by a high functioning and experienced medical assistant
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in family practice, orthopedics, spine, emergency room, or other medical fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients and educate them on the treatment plan/next steps
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
