Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and service-driven VIP Servers to deliver exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, premium dining environment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-energy settings and take pride in providing personalized, high-quality service to guests.
As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in creating a seamless and elevated guest experience by delivering attentive service, maintaining strong menu knowledge, and working collaboratively with the team to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized, attentive service.
- Maintain full knowledge of menus, daily specials, and premium offerings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely, organized, and professional manner.
- Monitor guest tables and service areas to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Upsell premium menu items, specialty cocktails, and featured offerings.
- Address guest concerns promptly or escalate to a supervisor when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and side work areas.
- Complete all opening, mid-event, and closing side work duties.
- Ensure work areas are fully stocked with necessary supplies, including utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Follow all local and state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Collaborate effectively with bartenders, barbacks, food runners, and supervisors.
- Support team members to ensure overall service excellence and operational success.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in other service areas as needed during peak periods.
Qualifications
- Must have proper uniform on hand (Black Button Down, Black Slacks, Black Non-Slip Shoes)
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or high-end service environment preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Professional demeanor with a guest-first mindset.
- Experience using POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to carry trays and lift up to 30–40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
