Job DescriptionRegional Financial Controller
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Financial Controller to oversee and manage all financial operations across multiple regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and providing strategic financial insights to regional leadership. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of financial principles, regulatory compliance, and the ability to drive financial performance and efficiency across diverse business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for assigned regions.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles, working closely with regional operational teams to establish realistic financial targets.
- Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, providing detailed variance analysis and actionable recommendations to regional management.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals across the regions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring all necessary documentation is provided.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within regional financial operations.
- Provide strategic financial advice and support to regional leadership on business initiatives, investments, and operational decisions.
- Manage cash flow and working capital effectively across the regions to optimize liquidity and financial health.
