About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to lead and scale a residential and light commercial division.
This is a true leadership role with full responsibility for day-to-day operational performance across service, maintenance, and install operations. This position is designed for someone who wants to own outcomes, drive performance, and build a disciplined, profitable division - not just manage a schedule.
You will be accountable for operational standards, financial performance, technician development, and long-term divisional growth.
The current team includes four technicians capable of handling both service and install, along with one install helper. There are plans to add an additional technician in the near term, making this a strong growth opportunity for the right leader.
Role Structure & Expectations
This position is approximately 85% operational and business-focused, with about 15% technical involvement.
You must have strong HVAC technical proficiency and credibility in the field - including the ability to quote jobs, support technicians, and assist with training when needed. However, this is not a primary wrench-turning role. The focus is on leadership, performance management, operational systems, and financial accountability.
You should fully understand the technical side of HVAC, while leading from a strategic and operational standpoint.
