Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students across K-12 grade levels in dynamic educational environments near Land O’ Lakes, FL. This contract opportunity is available for dedicated SLPs holding an active FL DOH SLP license. Both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and those with ASHA Certification are encouraged to apply—SLPAs are not eligible at this time.

Assignments are on-site only and span several schools, with full-time and part-time schedules available. You’ll be providing essential speech and language therapy services, tailored to each student’s needs, in a collaborative setting.

What You Bring:

  • Active Florida DOH Speech Language Pathology licensure (required)
  • ASHA Certification (preferred, not required)
  • Previous experience with school-age populations (K-12) is beneficial
  • Commitment to working on-site; remote roles are not available
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently across different school sites

Responsibilities Include:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams, working closely with educators and families
  • Create engaging and individualized treatment plans to support students' success
  • Serve one or more school sites (assignments include elementary, middle, and high school locations in east and west Pasco County)
  • Prioritized openings at Seven Springs Elementary (5 days/week); additional opportunities at other regional campuses
  • Support credentialing by completing fingerprint requirements and applying for the required JLA badge

Competitive pay is offered, ranging from $33-45 per hour depending on years of school-based experience.
