  • Pay Rate: 18-23/Hr
  • Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Pacific)

Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I serves as the face of the company to patients by performing skilled specimen collection and preparation for laboratory testing. This role ensures patient trust and comfort while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established procedures.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform specimen collection and processing duties accurately and confidently
  • Maintain a safe, professional environment for patients and staff
  • Adhere to SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations while following all phlebotomy protocols
  • Document all activities, keeping accurate records and logs
  • Support organizational commitment by providing excellent service to patients, clients, and coworkers
  • Promote a positive image of the organization in all patient interactions
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or overtime when required

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience required
  • One year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Customer service background in healthcare, retail, or service environments preferred
  • Data entry/keyboard experience required

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Prior experience in a Patient Service Center environment
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations

Required Skills:

  • Excellent phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric)
  • Ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:

  • Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA)
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training background
  • Customer service orientation and patient communication

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to adhere to company dress code and safety standards
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
