Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.50

    • $5/hour premium on all hours worked.

    • $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).

Experience Requirements

  • Long Term Care Experience: 6 months preferred, 3 months required.

Scheduling Requirements

  • Minimum of 30 hours per month.
  • One weekend shift per month.

Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
  • Providing age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.
  • Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Facilitating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
  • Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
  • Supporting wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of starting.
  • Completion of yearly department-specific competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually).
  • For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be medically qualified to perform driving functions if applicable.
