- $5/hour premium on all hours worked.
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential.
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
Experience Requirements
- Long Term Care Experience: 6 months preferred, 3 months required.
Scheduling Requirements
- Minimum of 30 hours per month.
- One weekend shift per month.
Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Providing age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.
- Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
- Facilitating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
- Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
- Supporting wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of starting.
- Completion of yearly department-specific competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually).
- For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be medically qualified to perform driving functions if applicable.
