Belmark is seeking individuals to join our team at our Web-to-Print® Flexible Packaging plant in De Pere, WI. You may be wondering - what do we do here at Belmark? Well, we create many of the labels, cartons, pressure sensitive and flexible film we as consumers see daily when shopping for various items.

We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • Web-to-Print® Finishing Operator
  • Web-to-Print® Rewind Operator.

As a Web-to-Print® Finishing Operator, you will be responsible for all associated equipment and process implemented in the Finishing Department in Web-to-Print®. This includes all functions of the Digicon Finishing Platforms as well as the Coupon Folding Equipment and Omega Coupon Inserter. Also, as a Web-to-Print® Rewind Operator, you will be responsible for Rewind labels from press rolls to smaller rolls according to customer specifications. Inspect labels for accepted quality and complete the appropriate paperwork. May also be required to bundle labels or tags, or fanfold labels.

Overtime and flexible hours will be required. Expected to operate the machines at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce high quality product. Come join our innovative, fun, and growing team today!

Schedule:

  • 3rd shift hours are from 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m., Sunday, 12:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday
  • Overtime after 36 hours!

Pay:

  • $23 - $26 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.
  • The shift differential for 3rd shift is $2.00 more per hour

What will I do in this role?

  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to established standards.
  • Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.
  • Web the finishing units.
  • Clean the finishing units.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the finishing units.
  • Complete necessary job paperwork.
  • Understand and properly utilize computer based hardware and software associated.
  • Keep work area and the machine organized and clean.
  • Responsible for meeting 48 hour stated turnaround objective.
  • May cross train in other areas of Web-to-Print®.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Will have job duties specific to our Hazardous Waste Management Program for the proper disposal of spent solvents, waste inks and other designated waste products. Some of the responsibilities include the placement of waste solvents/inks in designated waste drums, labeling of waste drums and moving waste drums to designated storage locations.
  • Set up rewind machine.
  • Calculate the number of labels needed per roll or bundle.
  • Rewind labels according to the job instructions. Individual output must at least meet the set minimum operating standards.
  • Inspect for and remove defective labels.
  • Identify product with accurate information.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork including packing slips.
  • Keep work area and machine clean and organized.
  • May bundle labels or tags.
  • May fanfold labels.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school education
  • Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
  • Ability to set up and operate a rewind machine using a ruler, calculator, Allen wrench and screw driver.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent problem solving skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to give, receive and analyze information.
  • Ability to effectively navigate and operate a computer.
