Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Care Hospital
Location: Walla Walla, WA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
🏥 Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in a short-term acute care and Level III trauma hospital. The OT will manage patient recovery, functional mobility, and discharge planning while working in a collaborative inpatient environment.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatment planning
- Provide acute care rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients
- Manage daily caseload of approximately 8–9 patients per day
- Float between hospital units as needed
- Support patient mobility, ADLs, and functional independence
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab teams
- Document care accurately in EPIC system
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Maintain patient safety and infection control compliance
🎯 Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State OT License (IN HAND REQUIRED)
- Minimum 1 year acute care OT experience (hard requirement)
- Inpatient Rehab experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced hospital setting
- EPIC experience preferred
