Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Care Hospital

Location: Walla Walla, WA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift

🏥 Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Acute Care Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in a short-term acute care and Level III trauma hospital. The OT will manage patient recovery, functional mobility, and discharge planning while working in a collaborative inpatient environment.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatment planning
  • Provide acute care rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients
  • Manage daily caseload of approximately 8–9 patients per day
  • Float between hospital units as needed
  • Support patient mobility, ADLs, and functional independence
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab teams
  • Document care accurately in EPIC system
  • Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
  • Maintain patient safety and infection control compliance

🎯 Required Qualifications

  • Active Washington State OT License (IN HAND REQUIRED)
  • Minimum 1 year acute care OT experience (hard requirement)
  • Inpatient Rehab experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced hospital setting
  • EPIC experience preferred
