Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process incoming orders using warehouse management system (WMS) and AS400 platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing RF scanners, order pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load & unload equipment.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments, updating inventory records, and coordinating with carriers for timely dispatch.
- Use basic math skills to calculate quantities, weights, and measurements for proper order assembly and packaging.
- Maintain organized storage areas through effective stock rotation and warehouse distribution practices.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts and stock replenishment to support warehouse distribution goals.
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in order fulfillment, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving processes.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 is highly desirable.
- Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely for order picking and packing.
- Basic math skills for inventory calculations and order accuracy.
- Ability to load & unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
