Job DescriptionProcess Engineer – Direct Hire

Summary:

We are seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our clients manufacturing team in a Direct Hire capacity. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to apply that knowledge to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves developing and implementing new processes, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Process Engineer will prepare quotations and communicate with customers regarding technical inquiries during both estimating and production stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes.
  • Optimize existing processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate process defects.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing team members to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed process documentation.
  • Stay current with the latest manufacturing technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.

  • Experience with machining

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
