Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A K-12 speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in Lovington, NM. This contract role involves providing direct and indirect speech therapy services in one to two school buildings within a district setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 65-70 students across various age groups and programs.
• Collaborate with assistant speech-language pathologists to manage higher caseload demands.
• Document services and participate in team meetings as required.
• Utilize the districts IEP system with provided training to support compliance and student progress.
• Maintain professional communication with school staff and families to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP certification appropriate for school settings.
• Experience working with a diverse student population from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Ability to manage a moderate to high caseload efficiently.
• Familiarity with special education services and individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in required training and Zoom interviews.

• Contract duration: Approximately July 22, 2025, through May 28, 2026.
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours.
