Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-27 academic year. This diverse K-12 caseload offers the chance to make a significant impact across multiple grade levels, providing direct therapy services within a school community. The assignment runs from August 19, 2026, through June 3, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, all conducted in person.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active and current SLP licensure (proof required at submission)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based settings with preschool, elementary, and/or secondary-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Committed to in-person service delivery
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish professional rapport with students and staff
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Developing and implementing targeted therapy plans, both individual and group-based
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Keeping thorough records on progress, attendance, and required paperwork
- Supporting students with speech, language, and communication needs to optimize learning outcomes
- Consulting with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
