Location: Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, and surrounding area!
Starting Pay: $45-$55/hour
At Interim HealthCare we are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) in Mechanicsburg and surrounding areas to join our compassionate team. You’ll provide essential therapy services that help patients overcome physical impairments and regain independence—all from the comfort of their own homes.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver expert physical therapy on individualized care plans
- Conduct initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments to monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes.
- Regularly assess patient status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate and counsel patients and families to promote understanding with treatment goals.
- Document clinical findings and treatment progress accurately and timely.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Current license as a Physical Therapist in PA
- Preferred: At least two years of relevant experience within the last five years.
- A heart for patient-centered care
- Reliable transportation
- CPR Certification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Current CPR certification.
- Proficient with computer applications and documentation systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
Working Conditions:
- Travel within the geographic area serviced by the office is required.
- Work is primarily conducted in residential settings or facilities.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transferring patients.
