Job DescriptionJob Title: Certified Tumor Registrar / NAPBC Program Coordinator

Location: Remote (Based in Brooklyn, NY)
Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Hours: 35 hours/week
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

The Certified Tumor Registrar / NAPBC Program Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting a breast cancer accreditation program. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts, and driving quality improvement initiatives within an oncology program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development, implementation, and ongoing management of a breast cancer accreditation program
  • Ensure compliance with national accreditation standards and maintain required documentation
  • Prepare for accreditation surveys and manage corrective action plans
  • Support and coordinate accreditation site visits and program readiness
  • Collect, analyze, and report quality and performance data
  • Lead quality improvement and process optimization initiatives
  • Coordinate and support committee meetings, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support program goals
  • Maintain organized records, reports, and program documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology program coordination, tumor registry, or accreditation support
  • Knowledge of oncology accreditation standards and processes
  • Experience with survey preparation and compliance management

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Experience with documentation and compliance tracking
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Understanding of oncology workflows and care coordination

Work Environment:

Remote role with collaboration across clinical and administrative teams
