Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Savannah, Georgia. In this role, you will oversee financial management and document control processes, ensuring accuracy and organization in all related tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in financial systems to support the operations of our non-profit organization.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee document control systems, ensuring all records are accurately maintained and accessible.
• Conduct document scanning and digitization to enhance recordkeeping efficiency.
• Compile and organize financial and operational documents for reporting purposes.
• Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online to process and manage financial transactions.
• Leverage Blackbaud software for advanced financial tracking and reporting within the non-profit sector.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards in all documentation processes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve document management systems.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support organizational decision-making.
• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for document control and financial management.
• Provide support during audits by ensuring the availability of accurate and complete documentation.• Proven experience in document control and financial management within a detail-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Blackbaud software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with document scanning and digitization processes.
• Ability to compile and analyze financial data effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of non-profit financial operations is preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
