Environment: Hybrid 3-4 days a week onsite
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 1-4 years of previous accounting experience in manufacturing, big 4, or related industries
- Highly proficient in Excel (Advanced formulas, macros, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work and interact with local management teams throughout the world, as well as internal and external auditors.
- Organized, solution-oriented, strict attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of business processes and efficiencies, including the ability to identify and implement process improvements

Job Description:
A global manufacturing company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Corporate Controller’s Department. This role will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting & Analysis and will support accounting policy, compliance, and internal and external reporting activities across U.S. and international operations. This is a full-time position, hybrid schedule, located in Wallingford, CT.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Policy & Compliance
- Oversee the Company’s lease accounting data and related processes, including:
- Maintaining the lease database and reviewing/inputting lease data
- Verifying summarized lease data from U.S. and international operations
- Coordinating with Headquarters and cross‐functional departments
- Performing periodic testing of database reporting, controls, and processes
- Preparing required accounting entries and quarterly/annual lease disclosures
- Update and maintain company financial policies related to lease accounting, as needed
- Assist with the documentation and testing of internal controls over financial reporting and other headquarters processes
- Perform and document annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment assessments
Financial & Regulatory Reporting
- Support internal and external reporting requirements, including:
- SEC reporting and compliance for Forms 10‐K (including Annual Report), 10‐Q, 8‐K, and related disclosures
- Company‐wide statutory reporting processes
- Preparation and analysis of the statement of cash flows and other key financial statements
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of key financial statement accounts and operational results
Additional Responsibilities & Special Projects
- Participate in financial systems–related projects, including:
- System upgrades and version updates
- Report development and testing
- Monthly close process improvements
- Updates to system documentation
- Provide general support to other Headquarters functions, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Support initiatives related to AI integration into financial and reporting processes
- Assist with ad hoc projects and other assignments as needed
