Job Summary:

This role will assist the management team in ensuring the safety, quality, morale, and productivity of a team of 5-20 warehouse associates. Additionally, this leadership role will oversee the accurate and timely receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, shipping, inventory control, and replenishment of a wide variety of products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers
  • Acting as a strategic information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
  • Mentoring, training, and developing teammates for career progression, performance improvement, and recognition purposes
  • Creating, communicating, and maintaining quality control policies and standard work procedures to associates
  • Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives using Lean tools to delight customers
  • Building and delivering productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts and determining productivity requirements
  • Evaluating performance objectives and metrics to determine inbound or outbound productivity requirements to achieve customer time, accuracy, and quality expectations
  • Partnering with other managers and stakeholders to share best practices across shifts and the network
  • Collaborate with Manager and teams in the warehouse to solve immediate day-to-day operational issues
  • Lead daily inventory control operations across multiple shifts to ensure all counts are accurate and discrepancies are resolved promptly
  • Conduct both scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts, location audits, and full inventory validations
  • Investigate root causes of inventory variances and develop corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence
  • Partner with Operations and Systems teams to drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy metrics
  • Manage inventory reconciliation processes for all exiting brands and removal activities from marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, etc.)
  • Oversee expired product management—including identifying, removing from the WMS, and coordinating proper disposition actions with operations or brand partners
  • Maintain compliance with customer requirements and internal inventory control standards
  • Collaborate with operations to coordinate and oversee replenishment activities across picking and reserve locations
  • Analyze and refine replenishment parameters (min/max quantities, replenishment triggers, slotting efficiency) to reduce manual intervention and increase flow efficiency
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to streamline replenishment and inventory movement
  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership as a trusted adviser
  • Manage multiple priorities in a face-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
  • Senior presence with thoughtful, articulate communication style
  • Able to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined action plan.
  • Adept at communicating up and down and at pivoting approach depending on the audience's needs.
  • Experience with picking and packing both direct to consumer and business to business orders.
  • Experience operating within multiple warehouse management systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit, stand, squat, walk, and maneuver within shipping station areas for 8-10 hours per day
  • Ability to safely move throughout a warehouse which includes stairs, stepladders, etc.
  • Ability to consistently lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
