Chariton Valley is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team. Following our mission, Keeping You Connected, Chariton Valley has provided state-of-the-art communication solutions to businesses and residents in Northeast Missouri for 70 years.
The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive support by managing the CFOs calendar, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and preparing reports and presentations for executive and board meetings. This role also handles incoming communications, maintains filing systems, processes expense reports, coordinates logistics for meetings, oversees vehicle inspections and maintenance for the CFO, manages all corporate mail, and serves as a backup to the Executive Assistant, especially for inventory-related tasks. Confidentiality and adherence to company policies are essential throughout all responsibilities.
We are looking for an individual with a high school diploma or GED and at least twelve months of relevant administrative experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines are required. The position also requires professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
