Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Medical Assistant to work on all leads' initial contact and follow-ups from first contact until booking. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a passion for the healthcare and aesthetics industry.
Primary Duties:
- Filling syringes, cleaning/sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures/treatments and understanding of sterile technique.
- Answering phones and capturing patient demographic information. Responding to written and telephone inquiries from patients on a timely manner.
- Interviewing Patients, taking notes, assisting with consultations and counseling patients for pre-op and post-op care.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for plastic surgery procedures and treatments.
- Scheduling patients and posting surgeries for Dr. Maia and Maia Plastic Surgery staff.
- Preparing charts daily and updating patient information.
- Discuss fees and financial policies with patients after their consultations.
- Checking out patients. Ensure that all procedures have been paid for and posted.
- Prepare for Upcoming Patient Days.
- Work with the marketing team to promote the office.
- Stocking and buying inventory and office organization (skincare, injectables, medical and office supplies).
- Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the surgeon or practice manager.
Qualifications:
- Experience preferably in the healthcare or aesthetics industry.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32 per hour (Compensation will be based on your experience and skill set)
Expected hours: 40 per week (eligible for overtime)
