Job Description
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in assembling cauterizing surgical instruments within a cleanroom environment. You will be responsible for reading processes and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assemble medical devices on multiple product lines, meeting or exceeding quantity standards.
- Demonstrate understanding of Quality System Policies by referencing and explaining written line procedures.
- Complete and maintain accurate written records of manufacturing operations on production documentation.
- Understand and follow instructions regarding priorities, work schedules, and job standards.
- Adapt to changes in procedures and learn new procedures due to product line and technology modifications.
- Cross-train on various product line operations and assist in training procedures.
- Apply general understanding of LEAN Manufacturing Principles to improve established metrics.
- Inform the lead or supervisor of material shortages proactively.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following housekeeping and safety guidelines.
- Maintain acceptable attendance standards and work overtime and varying shifts as needed.
- Volunteer in Shared Leadership activities such as Kanban Management and Calibration.
Essential Skills
- 1 to 2 years of previous medical device assembly or ISO certified assembly experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and team members.
- Understand verbal and written work instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment and following its practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform repetitive work according to set procedures, sequence, and pace.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Fine motor skills and high degree of dexterity and eye coordination for assembling small parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Soldering and hand bonding experience preferred.
- Basic MS Windows skills and site-specific PC programs following training.

Work Environment
Work in a medical device company within a full cleanroom environment. Adhere to a strict dress code with hair nets, gowns, and booties. Maintain cleanliness by washing hands before entering the cleanroom and avoid wearing makeup.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.80 - $22.88/hr.
