Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and detail-oriented Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral therapy services to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior intervention plans, monitor progress, and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as outlined by the BCBA.
- Collect data on clients behavior and progress.
- Provide one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Assist in skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records for each client.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other staff members.
- Provide feedback and updates on client progress to the BCBA.
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations as directed.
- Ensure that treatment plans are implemented according to ethical guidelines and best practices.
- Engage in continuous professional development and attend training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience in providing ABA therapy or working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
