Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a licensed bilingual School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting located in Milpitas, CA. This contract position offers meaningful work assessing and counseling students while collaborating with educational teams to promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including triennial and initial evaluations
- Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Provide Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS) counseling minutes
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized plans that support student needs
- Support students across diverse backgrounds by utilizing bilingual Spanish skills
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist License in California
- Proficiency in Spanish is required to effectively engage with students and families
- Experience providing psychological assessments and counseling in K-12 settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working within multi-disciplinary teams
Details:
- Location: Milpitas, CA
- Contract Period: Immediate start through June 2026
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
