Job Description

What You’ll Do

Enhance the end-to-end employee experience in Zip (the “single front door” for spend requests), ensuring requests are simple to submit, easy to track, and routed correctly.

Redesign and continuously improve intake questions, forms, conditional logic, and guided buying flows to reduce friction while strengthening policy compliance and review quality.

Configure and optimize automate workflows: routing rules, approval chains, automations, and handoffs so the right stakeholders (Finance, Legal, Security, IT, etc.) are engaged at the right time.

Drive both strategic enhancements (new lanes/workflows, major UX improvements) and small but high-impact changes (copy tweaks, field validation, smarter defaults, better request-type clarity).

Identify pain points using request data + feedback loops; run a steady cadence of experiments/A-B tests and ship measurable improvements in cycle time, rework, and requester satisfaction.

  • Expand and operationalize AI-enabled procurement experiences in Zip (e.g., procurement AI agents), and partner to infuse our capabilities into intake, triage, guidance, and reviewer workflows.
  • Partner with Procurement Ops, AP, Finance, Legal, Security, and Enterprise Tech to ensure configurations align to controls, reporting needs, and integrated systems across the intake-to-pay lifecycle.
  • Create runbooks, governance, and enablement materials (training, change comms, release notes) to support adoption and consistent usage at scale.

What You’ll Bring

  • Hands-on experience administering/configuring Zip (intake-to-procure / intake-to-pay), including forms, workflow routing, approvals, and conditionality.
  • Strong understanding of procurement intake and orchestration concepts (standardized intake, visibility, compliance-by-design).
  • Practical AI/automation mindset: comfort deploying AI-assisted workflows/agents and translating user pain points into AI-enabled product improvements.
  • Highly execution-oriented: can independently find issues, propose fixes, and ship improvements quickly while keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Data-driven and UX-sensitive: uses metrics + user feedback to prioritize work and prove impact.

Pay Rate: $65-$72/hour
