This opportunity is based at Everhome Suites Clarksville Ft. Campbell Area, a Choice Hotels extended-stay brand designed for long-term travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and apartment-style living. The hotel is ideally located near Fort Campbell, Austin Peay State University, major medical centers, and key corporate corridors, making it a strong market for extended-stay demand.
Position Summary
The Director of Sales is responsible for leading all sales and revenue-driving efforts for the property. This role focuses on increasing occupancy, ADR, and long-term room nights by targeting key extended-stay segments and building strong relationships within the Clarksville market.
This position combines strategy and execution, requiring a hands-on sales leader who can generate new business while managing account growth and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive occupancy, ADR, and revenue growth
- Identify and secure business across key extended-stay segments including:
- Military and government (Fort Campbell)
- Construction and trades
- Corporate and project-based business
- Relocation and housing services
- Healthcare and education accounts
- Military and government (Fort Campbell)
- Actively prospect new business through sales calls, networking, and site visits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local demand generators and key clients
- Negotiate and manage corporate and project-based contracts
- Collaborate with the General Manager and revenue team on pricing strategy and forecasting
- Track and report on sales activity, pipelines, and account performance
- Position the hotel as the preferred extended-stay option in the Clarksville market
- Represent the property at community and business events
RequirementsQualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of hotel sales experience
- At least 1 year in a leadership or senior sales role preferred
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through
Core Skills
- Extended-stay, corporate, or project-based sales experience preferred
- CRM and sales reporting system proficiency
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR drivers
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospitality environment
