MDS Industrial Racking LLC is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and pallet racking who is ready to help clients design and implement solutions that keep their operations efficient and productive. No Gimmicks. No Schemes. Just Account Servicing and proving quotes to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in the warehousing, logistics, and distribution industries.

  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate pallet racking, mezzanines, shelving, dock equipment, and other warehouse solutions.

  • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and project estimates with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure successful installation and execution of awarded projects.

  • Attend site visits to assess customer facilities and provide recommendations on racking layouts, safety, and compliance.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.

  • Maintain CRM records and track sales pipeline activity.

  • Stay current on material handling products, safety standards, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience in warehouse operations, pallet racking, material handling equipment, or related fields strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of warehouse layouts, OSHA requirements, and racking safety standards.

  • Ability to read and understand warehouse drawings, blueprints, or CAD layouts (preferred but not required).

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to work within a CRM system.

  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.

  • Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and project support.
