We are currently seeking an experienced Staffing Specialist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a recruiter who understands full-cycle staffing and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can recruit, screen, place, and manage talent while building strong relationships with both clients and candidates.

Compensation
Compensation is Based on Experience (BOE). While Indeed requires a pay range, final pay will be determined by experience, performance, and the overall value brought to the role.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staffing Specialist to join our dynamic human resources team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of talent acquisition, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, expertise in technical recruiting, and a comprehensive understanding of employment laws and HRIS systems. Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies utilizing social media management, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms such as iCIMS or Workday, and other sourcing tools to attract diverse candidates.
  • Conduct interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, and coordinate with hiring managers to identify the best fit for each role.
  • Negotiate employment terms, prepare contracts, and facilitate offer extensions while ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws.
  • Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies and internal stakeholders to streamline talent acquisition processes.
  • Utilize HRIS systems like PeopleSoft or UltiPro for employee data management, onboarding, and employee orientation programs.
  • Lead campus recruitment initiatives by establishing relationships with educational institutions and participating in career fairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, employee evaluations, and employee relations documentation.
  • Engage in cold calling and lead generation efforts to build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Support succession planning initiatives by identifying high-potential candidates within the organization.
  • Conduct research on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring practices to enhance recruitment strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical recruiting, executive recruiting, or internal recruiting within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills for effective relationship management.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Taleo, Salesforce, or Kronos; experience with HRIS systems including Workday or Paychex is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliance during hiring processes.
  • Demonstrated ability in talent management, employee orientation, and training & development initiatives.
  • Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Experience with HR sourcing techniques including cold calling and research methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
