Temporary Hospice CNA – 4-Week Assignment

Locations: Stokes/Forsyth Counties
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
Duration: 4 weeks | Start ASAP

Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for a defined, short-term hospice assignment. This role is ideal for a CNA who wants meaningful work with a predictable weekday schedule—without weekends, or a long-term commitment.

Position Highlights

• $25/hour (non-benefited)
• Monday–Friday only
• No weekends. No on-call.
• Mileage reimbursement at $0.70 per mile
• 4-week commitment with clear expectations
• Supportive interdisciplinary team and established workflows

What You’ll Do

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
• Follow individualized care plans and hospice protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

What We’re Looking For

• Active CNA certification
• Hospice or home health experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Organized, dependable, and patient-centered
