We are seeking a skilled Food Service Equipment Technician to provide high-quality service, repair, and maintenance on commercial food service equipment for our long-established customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of refrigeration systems (certification is a strong plus).
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys independent field work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial food service equipment
- Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems
- Perform refrigeration-related service work (specialty refrigeration tools provided)
- Provide clear communication with customers and ensure a positive service experience
- Complete all service documentation accurately and on time
- Travel to customer sites using a company-provided service van
- Occasional overnight travel as needed
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Hands-on electrical experience required
- Refrigeration experience strongly preferred; EPA certification a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must supply own basic tools (specialty refrigeration tools provided)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Positive attitude, reliability, and problem-solving mindset
- No ladder climbing or rooftop work required
