The Assembler will test; trouble shoot and replace parts on servers and computers for diagnosis and repair.

Main Responsibility:

• • Inspect, test, and diagnose
  • Replace parts as needed
  • Conduct and analyze stress tests
  • Document all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor tool
  • Collaborate with motherboard repair, motherboard testing, QC, and inspections personnel
  • Provide back up for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing
  • Maintain a positive work environment and parts consumption
  • Work and collaborate with other teams such as warehouse, shipping, receiving, etc.
  • Follow process for system and parts management

Basic Skills Required

• • Know basic assembly
  • Know how to assemble components to make electronics function
  • Run and understand testing diagnostics
  • Understand basic error codes
  • Able to trouble shoot common errors and issues
  • Motivated to solve problems
  • Interested in constantly learning about servers and networking

Qualifications - Education & Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months or more of experience in a repair area
• Prefer to have worked in a kpi production type environment.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Have experience of simple or repetitive component replacement such as LCD/HDD for multiple commodities.
• Basic computer skills
• Able to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete assigned tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers with coordination to constantly use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools.
• Must be hands-on, have ambition and drive to succeed and make things happen.
• Goal oriented and must be accustomed to achieving results through teamwork.
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
