Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity exists for experienced Cath Lab Technologists with a strong background in cardiovascular imaging and interventions. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist; first-time techs will not be considered
- Preceptor experience is mandatory, with readiness to train newer Cath Lab staff
- Proficiency in scrubbing, monitoring, circulating, and EKG interpretation
- Hands-on experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stenting, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Rotablader use, and left/right heart catheterization
- Competence in electrophysiology procedures including arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation (RF and Cryo), cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, and EP evaluation
- Skilled in device management such as AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, LAA closure, and Watchman device procedures
- Strong familiarity with Stimming techniques and Cerner EMR preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive imaging and procedural support in the Cath Lab for a daily caseload typically ranging from 7 to 20 cases per technician
- Adhere to a 4x10-hour day shift schedule (06:30 AM to 5:00 PM), with on-call duties as needed
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety during complex cardiac interventions
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate actively in training and mentoring newer Cath Lab technologists

Contract Details:
- Contract position with shift schedule of four 10-hour days per week

- Guaranteed hours apply following the first call off each pay period
