Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Charles Town, WV. This contract role offers a 35-hour work week and provides an opportunity to deliver valuable speech and language support to students throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP or Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion
- West Virginia SLP License
- West Virginia Teaching Certification for school-based practice
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational environments preferred
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports in accordance with state and school regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student accommodations and goals
