We are looking for an experienced Hospice Director of Nursing to organize and oversee clinical operations of the agency. You will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies. There, all personnel will be able to do their best in caring for patients.
The Director of Nursing should be hard-working, compassionate registered nurse who steadily develops their managerial and administrative skills. Being efficient, dedicated, a good listener and a problem-solver is what will open our door for you.
Responsibilities
- Direct, oversee and evaluate nursing personnel (registered nurses, LPN, PT, OT, and Support Services- SW/Chaplains)
- Guide staffing procedures
- Organize and coordinate admission, nursing and patient care procedures
- Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards
- Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed
- Manage record-keeping procedures
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations
- Report to upper management
- One Week On-Call Admin may be required
Skills
- Proven experience as a registered nurse
- In-depth knowledge of home care procedures and QA of patient care
- Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in homecare
- Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel
- Great communication and people skills
- Outstanding organizational and stress management skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Degree as a registered nurse
- Valid TX nursing license and CPR certification
- Excellent computer/Microsoft Office knowledge

Pay: $90,000.00 per year
