  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality is built into products and processes from the start.
  • Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
  • Support customer quality requirements, including managing customer complaints, returns, and non-conformance reports.
  • Utilize statistical tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control) and data analysis to monitor and improve processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support supplier quality management, including audits, PPAP reviews, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of quality engineering experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry or a similarly regulated field.
  • Strong knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, and APQP processes.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards.
  • Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis), and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and blueprint interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems).
  • ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification is a plus (e.g., CQE, CQA).
