Are you detail-driven with a passion for precision and fine-tuned work? We are in search of YOU! Trinity Products is in search of a Coater - Production Painter to support the coating and finishing processes for our steel products. Position is 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm). This role is responsible for ensuring the proper application of coatings meet quality and durability standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial coatings, surface preparation, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare steel pipe surfaces for coating applications, including cleaning, blasting, and priming.
  • Apply coatings using various methods such as spraying, brushing, or dipping, following company and industry standards.
  • Inspect coated products to ensure compliance with thickness, adhesion, and overall quality specifications.
  • Operate and maintain coating equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations related to coating materials and processes.
  • Collaborate with quality control and production teams to address defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of coating applications, material usage, and quality inspections.
  • Assist in troubleshooting coating issues and optimizing application techniques for efficiency and consistency.
  • Participate in training programs to stay updated on coating technologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; vocational training in industrial coatings or a related field is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in industrial coatings, painting, or surface preparation preferred.
  • Familiarity with different coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes.
  • Ability to operate coating and surface preparation equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Team player with effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.
