Job DescriptionJob Overview:

  • Responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation related to testing and commissioning processes.
  • Works closely with engineering and project teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Take direction from the Startup Lead Technical Writer for assigned tasks.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with project document controls.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of functional test instructions.
  • Coordinate with Startup Test Engineers to ensure testing procedures align with intended objectives.
  • Understand and document technical testing processes.
  • Support project activities by performing additional duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of startup testing and commissioning principles and practices.
  • Understanding of construction and engineering practices and related economics.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and design criteria.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in technical writing or related field.
  • Equivalent experience in construction, commissioning, or similar environments may be considered.
